About Pulvian

Workplace signals from public data, scored and made comparable.

What Pulvian is

Pulvian is a free, public tool for understanding the workplace health of companies using signals drawn from publicly available data. It aggregates employee reviews, growth indicators, news sentiment, and public filings into three comparable scores: Stress, Risk, and Confidence.

No paywall. No account required. No survey. The goal is to surface information that already exists in a form that is easier to read and compare.

Why it exists

Most platforms that cover workplace reputation are built around engagement, not clarity. Signals get buried, gated, or filtered through incentives that do not always align with the reader. No single place gives you a comparable score across dozens of companies in a few minutes.

The signals that actually matter — employee sentiment, layoff patterns, news coverage, SEC filings — are already public. They are just spread across dozens of sources and never aggregated into something actionable.

Pulvian pulls those signals together, scores them, and presents them without friction. Job seekers, investors, journalists, and researchers get a single place to check workplace health in seconds. It does not claim to know more than the data shows. It simply tries to show it clearly.

Who built this

Pulvian was built by a software engineer who spent too many hours triangulating company health across review platforms, news trackers, layoff databases, and public filings during a job search — and decided to automate it.

It moves quickly and stays honest about its limits. Coverage is imperfect. Scores can lag. The methodology is published openly and will improve over time as more signal sources are added.

If you find it useful, share it. If something looks wrong, report it from the company page — that feedback directly shapes what gets fixed next.

What Pulvian is not

Pulvian is not an employer review site. It does not solicit or host employee reviews. It does not name or blame individuals. It does not make investment, legal, or employment recommendations.

Scores are directional signals derived from aggregated public data — not certified findings, ratings, or endorsements. Always use your own judgement alongside any signal this tool surfaces.

Coverage — where we are today

Pulvian currently tracks over 1510 companies, with active expansion underway. Coverage is deliberately broad rather than deep: we prioritise including companies from diverse markets over exhaustive scoring of a narrow list.

Coverage is uneven. Larger, established companies typically have more public data available and therefore produce more reliable scores. Startups and companies in markets with fewer English-language review platforms often have low confidence scores — those scores should be treated as early or partial signals, not firm assessments.

We are actively working to add more startup and growth-stage companies and to improve confidence for companies with thin public data. Each company page shows a coverage badge (Strong / Moderate / Limited) so you always know how much the score is backed by.

Corrections and removal requests

If you believe a score is materially incorrect, that data is outdated, or that information about a specific company should be removed, you can submit a request directly from any company page using the "See a data error on this page?" link at the bottom of that page. Requests are reviewed manually.

We take accuracy seriously. Corrections are prioritised when supported by a clear explanation and, where possible, a link to supporting evidence.

For a full explanation of how scores are calculated, see the Methodology page.

Current status

Pulvian is an independent tool in active development. Coverage is growing, the scoring model will improve over time, and some data may be sparse or outdated — the coverage badge on every company page makes that explicit. Feedback is always welcome via any company page’s data concern form.
